Saturday update. Feeling much better today so the world starts to look brighter again..despite the rain!

 

Had some issues with email which wasted a lot of time today but am glad that it has been fixed. We spent a relaxing night in front of the TV last night. And this afternoon we saw a movie – A perfect match. Was a nice feel-good movie. Nothing very deep. But entertaining and pleasant! So ..it’s been a real weekend bludge so far!

 

Mum called in shortly tonight and we watched Midsummer murders on TV. We enjoy the series. Other than that…have listed a few more books on eBay. Currently have 62 items listed but only 6 are selling. However, many of the others have watchers. So hope for me yet!

 

Pete called in briefly this afternoon. I am so happy to be living here in West Heidelberg – so much closer to family.

 

But I am less happy about the state of the house. We have now had the linen cupboard put into the hallway (missing one door). So have managed to fill it. Have also managed to unpack about 8 large cartons that were stuck in Dennis’ study. Unfortunately a lot of the contents are now strewn around the house. So have decided to make a concerted effort next week to tidy up and dispose of the surplus!

 

Still waiting on the quote for our front and side fence which will be the last item of construction for quite a while.

 

Mum and I decided to postpone our trip to Germany until May next year. That’s spring over there. Gives us a bit more time to get on top of all the work at both our houses and also gives me more time to get over these health issues.
